How Can You or Your Company Help Us?

The Playground Management Committee has completed its original mandate on behalf of the Rotary Clubs in Ottawa. However, it is their intent to continue its work by renovating an already existing dual-level water play area to that same standard as the other play areas, so that children with disabilities do not have to stay on the sidelines of this activity. In order to accomplish this, the committee needs to raise another $100,000.

  • How to become a Patron

A project of this magnitude requires the support of everyone; community-minded individuals, businesses and charitable foundations. The Playground Management Committee seeks both major sponsors and donations, either monetary or goods and services in kind.

Individuals and companies may become a patron by providing financial support or donations of goods and materials required for the construction of the playground.

There are 4 levels of Patron:

    • GOLD - Donations of $50,000 or greater
    • SILVER - Donations of $20,000 to $49,999
    • BRONZE - Donations of $5,000 to $19,999
    • FRIENDS OF THE PLAYGROUND - Donations of $1,000 to $4,999

All patrons will be recognized with a plaque on the donor's wall located at the front entrance to the Rotary Centennial Playground for Children Of All Abilities. Certificates suitable for framing and display are available upon request.

  • Where Can Donations Can Be Made?

    • Donations can currently be made by cheque, Visa, Mastercard or American Express by printing off the Donor Form, filling it in and mailing to:
      Rotary Centennial Playground
      c/o Susan Goddard

  • Donations Receipts Available

    • All donors making a donation of $10 or more will receive a donor receipt if requested.
    • For goods-in-kind donations, Revenue Canada requires that we have documentation to support the value of donations of $1000 or greater.
